POLLUTION AND HORMONES

how-to-detox-your-body

HORMANAL IMBALANCE
We all know that hormones play an important role in conception, emotions, and also can affect our .wellb.eing. Oestrogen and progestorone should be balanced before our menstrual cycle, during ovulation and after ovulation. And pollution affects our bodies, health and our enviroonment.
Causes of hormonal imbalance
Coming off the pill - I personally don't take the pill because of its effects on fertility. It takes a while for the body sy bstem to clear such drugs from the system.
stress - I cannot say enough about stress. It can lead to a longer cycle, delayed ovulation and can affect the production of sex hormones. Give all your worris and fears to God for he cares about you.
Illness - If it does happen before ovulation it could delay or prevent it. IF it occurs later after ovulation, it really has no effect ut if pegnant it does. However we all know as children of God we are healed and it is not the will of God for us to be sick.

Travel - too much travel can affect the cycle.
Diet - Indulging in junk foods, high fat content and low nutritional value does affect fertility.  And stimulate an oestrogen overload. Eating healthy foods are needed for hormonal balance.
Pollution - These are called "XENO OESTROGENS". These are chemicals that behave like oestrogen and can affect the health of humans. I know we serve an all powerful God but we should be good stewards of our bodies and environment. You want to avoid things such as:
1. Do not heat food or water with plastic in the microwave. Do not drink hot liquids in foam styrofoam cups or receptacles.

2. Do not use anything on the skin with parabens or phenoxyethanol in them. This includes shampoo, soap, makeup, hand lotion, body lotion, and toothpaste. Oral substances are 90% filtered by the liver. Skin-absorbed substances are 100% absorbed by the body, thus, a skin dose is 10 times an oral dose.
3. Avoid weak estrogens such as soy and ground flax seed.
4. Use cosmetics with minerals or grapefruit seed extract as a preservative.
5. Avoid household cleaning products with chemicals because they can apss thorugh the skin and we do breathe them. I will share my superb cleaning recipe later.

6. Avoid Commercially-raised, non-organic meats such as beef, chicken, and pork if possible. Avoid non organic milk and jucies if possible.
7. Eat oganic fruits and vegetables if possible. I love trader joe's because they have organic fruits and veggies at a lower price than Whole Foods. Fruits with a thicker peels like bananas, pineapple, all melons, papaya, mango and all potatoes. Also Asparagus, avocado, onions, peas, broccoli, kiwi, cabbage, corn and eggpalnt are all safe to eat nonorganic.
For fruits that must be organic are: apples(they have the highest form of pesticide), all berries, grapes, bell peppers, letuce, kale, peaches, pears, carrots (at trader joes large bag of organic carrot is $0.84), nectarines, cherries and celery.
If you have no store around you that sells organic, then please wash them well and peel the skin before consuming. Fruits and vegetables are cheapest and freshest when they are in season. You can also find out when produce is delivered to your market. That way you know you're buying the freshest food possible.

8. Avoid Air fresheners that contain pthalates
9. Buy hormone free meats to eat.
10. Use glass or ceramics whenever possible to store food and water. Heat up your food using a glass or ceramic bowl covered with dish. When plastic is heated, it diffuses very rapidly into food.

Why ues toxic cleaners that affect your health and environment. Try my easy household recipe below:
MY EASY RECIPE FOR HOUSEHOLD CLEANING
Vinegar Shower Cleaner1 cup white vinegar
3 cups water
Add to a large spray bottle and shake well before each use. Use to clean your bathroom - allowing the mixture to sit longer on more stubborn stains. The acidity in the vinegar will help remove grout and grime.
Works great around the house also and did you know that vinegar makes silver spotless.

Lavender Multi Purpose Cleaner
Use this relaxing fresh and all-natural cleaner for countertops, floors or appliances—anywhere you need to cut grease and grime!
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup white distilled vinegar
2 tablespoons castile soap
10 drops lavender essential oil(or use your favorite essential oil)
Preparation
• In a spray bottle, pour the warm water in, then add the vinegar.
Add the castile soap, then the essential oil.
Put the top on and shake the spray bottle to combine all ingredients.
Use as needed to clean counters, floors, bath and kitchen appliances and anything else you'd like.

I would go indepth later in using essentialoils for relaxing and for conception & pregnancy.
**Essential oils can be irritating to skin and must be diluted.
I recommend Aura Cacia and oils from Ananda Apothecary. And vitacost has them for a cheaper price and you only pay $4.99 shipping reagardless of your purchase.
Guess what? You save money. 1 gallon of vineger costs about $1.20 at walmart
