REFLECTON, PRAYER & FASTING

As we approach 2011, I would suggest reflecting on 2010. How was 2010 for you? Did you accomplish the goals you wanted to. Did it end well? 2011 is another year, a year of new beginnings, new goals, accomplishments and a new start. As we dedicate them to God, also realize that we have our part to play.Write down goals for  2011 discuss with partner and how to accomplish them.
This week and first & second weeks in January 2011 should be a time of reflection, consecration and dedication unto God. We should spend time in fasting and prayers.
After Moses fasted for forty days, he was swept up into new place and received the ten commandments. After Jesus fasted for forty days, the Holy Spirit empowered his life, ministry of healing and preaching was launched.
Fasting cleanses the body, soul and spirit. In the bible those who sought God and desired to enter into deeper spiritual realms used fasting as a powerful tool. Actual definition of fasting means"to abstain from food partially or completely." When accomplished through the direction of the Holy Spirit, has the power to break the control of the flesh. When struggling with food, sex, out of control emotions,  money, television, internet, fasting helps break the power of such. It brings your mind and spirit under God's submission.
Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." If your flesh rules you, you will acutally be drawn to the very things, people and foods that can destroy you.
The process of crucifying the flesh  must be accomplished through prayer, renewing the mind daily with God's word and watching words spoken from our lips.  Fasting is the dynamite that makes all such efforts easier and more effective.
  Types of fasting:
Corporate fasting for the church and large amount of people.
Leviticus 16:29 " This shall be a statue forever to you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all.

Esther fasting: Queen Esther decided to take a 3 day dry fasting of no food or water. To save her people from destruction.  "Go gather together all the jews who are in Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast s you do. When this is done, I will go to the King even though it is against the law, And if I perish I perish." Esther 4:16.
3 day fasting is for deliverance, divine favor and protection. It moves the hand of God mightily, changes the heart of men, breaks strongholds, help turn hurting individuals back to God, accelerates  answers to prayers. I can attest to this, after fasting dry for 3 days and 1 month later blessed with my daugther.

Ezra Fast: the trip to Jerusalem was dangerous. Ezra needed protection to lead the jews back to their home city. Ezra 8 :21 "I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions"  For protection security and direction.

Elijah and Moses Fast: Never go on a forty day fast without a special word from God, no matter how heavy your yoke. Even then, your physician must closely monitor such a lengthy fast. Elijah didn't eat or drink, and the power of the terror, despondency and depression that had assailed his mind and overwhelmed his emotions was broken. Elijah and Moses went on a supernatural fast in which they ingested neither food or water. Jesus, however, went on a forty day fast and drank water, but ate no food.
Interestingly, on the Mount of Transfiguration, Elijah and Moses-the two men who had fasted for forty days without food or water - were there with Jesus. All three who stood on the Mount together had undergone a forty-day fast.
"And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him." Matthew 17:3.

This kind of fasting help combat spiritual enemies, births forth ministry, gifts and prayers that have been hindered.

Daniel Fast I:
" Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine... Please test your servants for ten days" give us nothing but vegetable to eat and water to drink" Daniel 1:8 &12. In verse 15 they looked healthier than the other men. God granted them favor, wisdom and insight far above anyone around them. This fasting helps crucify the flesh.

Daniel Fast II:
Fast where Daniel  took nothing but water. "In those days, I Daniel, was mourning  three full weeks 21 days.  I ate no pleasant bread, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I annoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled." Daniel 10:2-3 . This fasting is great for breakthroughs.

Disciples Fast:
The disciples encountered some resistance to the healing power of God, when the disciples could not Jesus healed the boy. Read Matthew 17:15.The Bible describes the disciples' fast to break strongholds in Isaiah 58:6. IT beaks yokes, bondages of any kinds, sets people free and for empowered ministry.

Repentance: Repent for our sins, family, parents and generations. Ask blood of Jesus to cleanse us.

Writing payer goals: During fasting it is very crucial you are very specific in what you want God to do. Write down what God says about your request. if praying for a child - write down God's word saying - fruitfulness and blessing the barren, if praying for a spouse - write down scripture about marriage. etc. During fasting  speak those scripture aloud while praying.
Worship & God's Word - Meditate on worship music/ any music you love that ushers you into the presence of God.  Also meditate on scriptures you are praying about.

Fast on weekends where no distractions and focus on fast. Day before your fast eat fruits and vegetables/soups.

  Suggested Juice Fasting Recipes:
2 apples, 1/4 slice ginger, 1/2 small lemon and 1 scoop green superfood
1 pink grapefrui peeled, 1/2 small lemon, 1 apple, 1 scoop green superfood
4 carrots, 1 apple, 1/2 beet, 1 scoop green superfood
watermelon alone juiced to make enough 8 oz
2 carrots, 1 beet, 1/2 cucumber, 1 apple

Take it morning afternoon and dinner during fast you choose. Take Green tea in the morning and for lunch. Green tea is high in polyphenols, has 200 times more antioxidant power than vitamin e AND 500 times more than vitanin C.

For those with sensitive digestive tracts, they do better when fruit juice is separated from vegetable juice. Or can indentify what item causes problem and remove them.
For diabetic or hypoglycemia add 1 tbsp ground flaxseed or rice meal into juice

The Lemonade fast "Master Cleanse"
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon/lime juice
1 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
1/10 tsp cyenne pepper
8 oz spring/ filtered water
liquid stevia/honey to taste
Mix and drink 8-12 glasses a day. eat/ drink nothing but water and tea for a day.
This is quite popular and even Bey once have done it.

Breaking your fast - reintroduce foods gradually with fruits, soups and then vegetables & food last.

Giving:  After fast, make sure you give as God leads you. There is something powerful that happens giving money to whom God leads after fasting. It will accelerate answers to your prayers very quickly.
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts. If I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,  and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts." Malachi 3:10-11.
Those who have no time to juice I would suggest getting a protein food like - Living Fuel living protein - great for diabetics, athletes, active life style and vegetarians $37.97. , living fuel superberry original $77.97,
Jarrow Formulas brown rice protein $8.81 on vitacost, NutriBiotic Vegan Rice Protein Drink Vanilla $26.06 vitacost, Olympian Labs Pea Protein Natural Vanilla $21.99 vitacost, Biochem Sports Vegan Protein Vanilla -- 12 Servings $12.10 vitacost. Also available in chocolate.
Remeber your body is the temple of God. We should do periodic juice fasts/ any fasts led by God every month/2-3 months to enhance our spiritual journey and keep our bodies in health. Once you become accustomed to fasting for 2-3 days, you may choose to increase it a little. Fasting is a powerful tool for health, cleansing, healing, strength and spiritual empowerment 7 for self or for others. First commit that time to God for spiritual cleansing and renewal. Devote it to reading God's word, prayer and worship.Remove every distraction = phone, internet and sex. If married inform spouse before fasting to be in agreement.

If you have never accepted Christ, would you please do so, It does not harm or kill. Why not invite Christ into your heart. Reaper this prayer
"Dear Jesus, I repent for all of my sins. I repent for the sins that have brought bondage and fear into my life and into the lives of others. I thank you for dying on the cross for me so that I might be free. I receive your forgiveness right now. Jesus, come into my heart, for I give my life to You. In Jesus' name. Amen."

I also suggest reading Toxic Relief by Don Colbert M.D. Some notes are culled from. Please do not attempt to fast without consulting your doctor.

We need to step up our game and stop being fake. We either are fully with God or against him. This Video sums it up!! Love You  Readers!!!!

GREAT HEALTHY & FERTILITY FOODS

So if you are planning on getting married, just got married and plannig to have kids. Add these foods to your diet.

Water

- To maintain optimal health and proper reproductive functions, one must remain optimally hydrated. Filtered and natural spring water are the safest choices

Yellow and Orange Vegetables

-Yellow and orange vegetables contain an abundance of beta carotene, an antioxidant, which has been shown to maintain hormonal balance and ward off miscarriage. Carrots, apricots, cantaloupe, grapefruits, lemon, mangoes, nectarines, papayas, oranges, golden kiwifruit, peaches, butternut squash, pineapples, yellow beets, yellow peppers, yellow potatoes, pumpkin, yellow tomatoes, yellow winter squash, rutabagas.

Plant Protein
plant-proteinProtein from plant sources like beans, peas, and peanuts has been associated with increased fertility, as opposed to protein from red meat and poultry. Beans are also high in iron, another fertility-helper. No need to become a vegetarian, but do try to limit meat to occasional small portions
Broccoli and Cabbage
See full size image
- Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage contain a phytonutrient called DIM that helps with estrogen metabolism. They are also known to prevent fibroids and endometriosis in women.
Carrots, peas and sweet potatoes - Containing beta-carotene, these veggies will help regulate a menstrual cycle, thus improving chances for conception.

Strawberries, blueberries, oranges, papaya, kiwi and cantaloupe

- Full of vitamin C and antioxidants, these fruits offer healthful reproductive benefits to women trying to conceive.

Meat, chicken, fish, eggs and dairy products (Protein)

- Amino acids in protein are vital for viable egg production and for making LH and FSH which are important fertility hormones. Scientific research also suggests women who get more of their protein from plants and less from animal sources have fewer overall ovulatory issues. Be certain to monitor mercury level intake from seafood as high levels can be toxic.

Whole grains
Arnold - Whole Grain Classics 100% Whole Wheat Bread
Whole grains such as oats, brown rice, whole wheat and quinoa are complex carbohydrates and so not only give you lots of energy for baby-making by releasing sugar into your blood slowly and evenly, but also contain an abundance of B and E vitamins that are essential for cellular reproduction, hormonal balance and the production of healthy ova and sperm.

Oily fish

Whole Roasted Salmon with Warm Potato Salad

Oily fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines are the best source of essential fatty acids (EFAs) omega-3 and omega-6 which play an important role in regulating reproductive functioning, improving blood flow and enhancing sperm quality and mobility. Flaxseed oil is a good EFA alternative for those who don't eat fish. avocados, nuts, sesame and pumpkin seeds also has omega-3.

Full fat dairy
full-fat-dairy
Research has found that women who eat at least one portion of full fat dairy a day are significantly less likely to suffer from fertility problems that those who consistently go for low fat or non dairy options. Dairy products are also a great source of calcium which is important in the development and maintenance of the nervous system, bones and blood.

According to Dr Gary Steinman, lead scientist in a medical study of twins, women who have a milk-based diet are more likely to conceive twins naturally than their vegan counterparts. It is thought that natural properties in milk may stimulate the ovaries, encouraging the production of multiple eggs for conception.

Garlic

Although not typically known as a food for romance, garlic contains an abundance of fertility boosting nutrients and can easily be neutralised with parsley.  Must be cooked and not eaten raw. It's a great source of the mineral selenium which is thought to enhance male fertility and help prevent the chromosome breakage that may play a role in early miscarriage. Garlic also contains vitamin B6 which helps to regulate hormones and strengthens the immune system.

Lean red meat
Meat Protein verses Plant Protein
Lean red meat is a great source of iron which helps to prevent anaemia, decreases the risk of ovulatory infertility and plays a role in the production and function of red blood cells. Red meat is also a good source of vitamin B12 which is essential in the maintenance and development of the nervous system. If preferably buy organic and non-processed.

Honey

Honey has been used to enhance fertility throughout history as it is incredibly rich in the minerals and amino acids that nourish the reproductive system and stimulate ovarian function. It's considered by many to be a fertility boosting super food.

Greens

Spinach and other leafy greens such as - turnips, okazi, waterleaf, collards, mustard greens, okra are an excellent source of folic acid which is important in optimising sperm production, facilitating regular, healthy ova production and helping to prevent neural tube defects during early pregnancy. It is also a great source of iron and vitamin C which helps to enhance sperm quality by protecting the DNA stored within it from damage.

Oysters

Oyster Recipe: Baked Oysters

It is the abundance of zinc found in this seafood delicacy that gives it its fertility boosting qualities.  Pumpkin seed also contains lots of zinc. Zinc is often considered to be the most important fertility nutrient as it has been shown to help with both healthy sperm and egg production. If oysters aren't your thing, zinc can also be found in baked beans, eggs, nuts, whole grains and pumpkin seeds. I purchase smoked can oysters from Trader Joes  about $2, use them with greens and love them with stuffing.

Chillies

Tray Of Chillies Image

The question is"Can you handle the heat". These certainly 'spice' things up in the fertility department by increasing the flow of blood around the body, ensuring that the reproductive system gets a healthy supply. Chillies also stimulate endorphin production which means more fertility boosting, stress releasing, happy hormones circulate around your body and are also an excellent source of vitamin C which helps with iron absorption.

Vitamin E.

Avocado, Extra Virgin Olive Oil& Palm oil provides a rich source of vitamin E which is a powerful antioxidant and an essential fertility nutrient for both men and women as it improves the viability of sperm and helps to regulate both ovulation and the production of cervical mucus. It is also an excellent source of unsaturated fats which are essential for healthy hormone functioning. Can also be found in almonds, peanuts, 1 kiwi fruit and wheat germ oil.

Pomegranate juice:
pom wonderful 1950 Creating My Valentines Day Menu Using Pom Wonderful! (Giveaway Closed)
Another powerful player in antioxidant circles is the pomegranate. According to research in mice, pomegranate juice can boost sperm count and quality. What better reasons are there to add this juice to your man’s meal? It's also great for women. It helps build thicker uterine lining to help implantation.
Wild yams:
See full size image

Some experts think that this staple contains a substance that may help stimulate ovulation. In fact, populations that eat a lot of wild yams have a high rate of twins. This research is based on an African tribe -the Yorubas especially in Nigeria, that uses yams as a main staple of their diet and produces a large percentage of twins. Though the exact cause isn't known, researchers believe a chemical in the yams increases the likelihood of hyperovulation.
When it comes to fertility foods, this one may have double the effect! Sweet potatoes are not yams. Cassava, african yams, chinese yams, yellow yams, white yams. Can be found at asian, carribean and african grocery stores. The flour  is also sold at such grocery stores - Used to make pounded yam and cassava fufu. Yams must be peeled and boiled just like boiling potatoes.  I'll post a recipe later on.

Berries:
Berries
Blueberries and raspberries are particularly packed with antioxidants, which help prevent damage and aging to your body’s cells — and this includes cells in your reproductive system — namely, your eggs. So a diet that’s rich in berries may help keep your eggs healthy and increase their shelf life.

Pineapple:

The enzyme -Bromelain found in the core of the pineapple helps with implantation n women alone. And also improves ureine lining. The core is where most of the bromelain is. However do not eat too much of it/drink too much as it may cause uterine contractions. I usually blend 1/2 cup with 1 banana, 1 cup organic strawberries and 1 teaspoon almond butter with ice and little water. Unripe pineapple is poisonous and can cause extreme diarrhea. Most women take them from day 1 of your cycle till pregnancy is confirmed.

Green tea
Lipton Green Tea

Drinking green tea may even help not only with female fertility, but with male fertility problems as well. Some green tea advocates suggest that green tea may help with low sperm count, and even with sperm motility. It helps in increasing cervical mucus in women, which helps sperm fertilize.  Green tea also contains strong antioxidants called polyphenols that cleanse your system. This will improve not only your fertility but your digestive system as well.
Other health benefits of green tea that some people have suggested include:
- Increased success at weight loss attempts. Makes flat stomach.
- Reduced risk of heart disease and heart problems
- Reduces risk of various types of cancer
- improves cholesterol levels, both lowering the bad cholesterol and raising the good
- Help prevent tooth decay when used alongside a regular oral hygiene regimen
- Increases the overall effectiveness of the autoimmune system.
As few as two cups of green tea per day may not only be able to help with conception, but may provide you many other health benefits as well.

Must be taken for women on cycle day 1-until ovulation. Do not take after ovulation as it may cause uterine contractions and if pregnant, can deplete body of folic acid.
I would suggest taking decaffeinated green tea.

Folic Acid
folic acid

Folic acid, also called folate or folacin, is one of the B vitamins, also known as B9. It is a vital raw material for production of red blood cells, as well as norepinephrine and serotonin (chemical components of the nervous system). Folic acid also helps to synthesize genetic material in every cell of the body and normalize brain function. Taking folic acid before conception reduces the risk of neural-tube defects such as spina bifida in babies in the womb. Children and adults both require folic acid in order to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia

The recommended daily intake of folic acid for all women of childbearing age is at least 400 micrograms (mcg), or 0.4 milligrams (mg). During pregnancy, the recommended dose jumps up to 600 – 800 mcg, or 0.6 – 0.8 mg, a day. Most prenatal vitamins contain the appropriate dosage of folic acid along with other vitamins that will help you stay healthy
Foods containing Folic acid - Leafy green vegetables are a good source of folate, lentils, wheat germ, beans, peas, egg yolks, banana, orange juice, cantaloupe, raomaine lettuce, fortified grain products, spears, asparagus, papaya, broccoli, cantaloupe, eggs and  canned wild salmon. And manufacturers are now required by the FDA to add folic acid to enriched cereal grain products such as flour, pasta, and rice. So replace the regular cereals with these and add a bowl of fresh salad to your daily diet.

Supplements that can help
Pre Seed
Pre Seed Intimate Moisturizer - 8 Applications
It is not a food, just a lubricant.  About $18 for 8 applications.
Approximately 11 million couples in the US, are trying to conceive (TTC). On average, a couple only has a 20% chance of becoming pregnant each month during the woman’s fertile time. Intercourse on demand at ovulation can lead to anxiety and increased vaginal dryness --as can many fertility medications. In fact, 75% of women report an increase in their frequency of dryness when TTC.
Unfortunately, “everyday” personal lubricants can damage sperm and keep them from swimming normally. This includes all the leading lubricants and even saliva /mineral oil/ ky or water. Numerous medical studies have shown that these products should not be used when you are ready to become pregnant
Traditional lubricants harm sperm because they have the wrong pH or osmolality (ion/salt concentration) or because they have ingredients in them such as glycerol (glycerin) which is toxic to sperm, especially at body temperatures.

Pre~Seed is the first ‘fertility-friendly’ Personal Lubricant that mimics natural body secretions to relieve vaginal dryness while providing an optimal sperm environment. Its moisture is delivered in the same pH , osmolality and viscosity (thickness) as fertile cervical mucus. Pre~Seed does not harm sperm or embryos, and is less irritating to women than the leading lubricants.
A little goes a long way when using it. There are so many positive reviews on pre seed and couples getting pregnant. you can go to their site for more information.  http://www.preseed.com/  It can be purchased at amazon, cvs, walgreens, drugstore.com, target, pregnancystore.com, early-pregnancy-tests.com. If trying to purchase internationally contact preseed directly for referrals.

Ideal for all women to help build nutritional stores for before conception, the formula includes key nutritional elements:

Folic Acid – Pregnacare® Conception provides 400mcg folic acid, the exact level recommended by the UK Department of Health for all women who are trying to conceive. Vitamin E is an essential nutrient, important for helping maintain healthy skin, nerves, heart and circulation, muscles and red blood cells. Pregnacare® Conception contains a low recommended dietary intake of 20mg. This is present in the natural form which is better absorbed by the mother and transported to the foetus than synthetic vitamin E.

Inositol – Inositol may help support ovarian function and influence fertility. It is involved in the cell signalling pathway which influences fertilization and cell growth.

L-Arginine – Well known as a precursor in nitric oxide (NO) metabolism, L-arginine can influence release of the egg from the ovaries (follicular release) as well as healthy follicular blood flow and implantation.

N-acetyl cysteine – A precursor of glutathione, an important antioxidant in the body. N-acetyl cysteine is also important for healthy cervical secretions.

Vitamin B12 – Part of the B complex group of vitamins, it has been found that B12 supplementation can help to maintain healthy ovarian function and reproductive health.

In general when trying for a baby it pays to go for good quality, unprocessed foods as these are likely to be much richer in vitamins, minerals and nutrients and also freer from pesticides and added oestrogens that may disrupt reproductive functioning in both men and women. By supplementing a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle with the foods listed above you will help to ensure you have all the nutrients you need to ensure your reproductive system is in optimum condition. Also remember to take folic acid rich food You can also check on my pre pregnancy cookbook recommendations -on my blog for December. Can be purchased at amazon for cheaper price and has lots of recipes. I highly recommend "take charge of your fertility book" by Toni Wesschler, to know you peak ovulation time and know your body well. Not every woman ovulates on 14 day. Chart, take your temperature with a basal body thermometer if you can.

Along with food and supplements, prayer works wonders. God is able to do what we cannot, give all your cares to him and trust that he is able!

MY TURKEY RECIPE! CHRISTMAS IS CLOSEBY!

I am so in love with turkey, I practically bake them every thanksgiving and christmas. Here is my turkey recipe and hope you enjoy.

My Turkey Recipe
Ingredients : 1 (12 pound) whole turkey
5 tablespoons butter - Use unsalted butter/ extra virgin olive oil, if your turkey has been brined with salt
2-3 cups chicken broth - I love swanson less sodium chicken broth -omit if turkey is brined with salt
2 tablespoons dried parsley, thyme, rosemary & powdered sage
2 tablespoons dried minced onion, garlic powder,  paprika
1 tsp ginger powder
2 tablespoons seasoning salt - optional -Omit if your turkey is brined with salt

Reminder- If you purchase a turkey  - please read ingredients, some already have salt in it. If it has salt, there is no need to add salt or chicken broth, otherwise, your turkey would be too salty.
If your turkey is in the feezer and its cold, Place turkey in bowl in refrigerator at least 2-3 days before Christmas.

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Rinse and wash turkey. Discard the giblets or you can add these to pan if these are anyone's favorites.
2.Place turkey in a Dutch oven or roasting pan. Separate the skin over the breast to make little pockets. Put 3 tablespoons of the butter on both sides between the skin and breast meat. This makes for very juicy breast meat. And remaining 2 butter all around, rub it in.
Pour 3 cups of chicken broth  and sprinkle in the parsley flakes, minced onion and all the herbs. Pour over the top, sides, cavity of the turkey. Rub it in, every where. Sprinkle seasoning salt over the turkey - omit if turkey is already brined with salt.

Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for 4 to 5 hours. After 3 hrs, baste your turkey with the drippings, every 30 minutes. For the last 45 minutes-1hr  or so, remove the foil so the turkey will brown nicely.

Hope you try it and enjoy! You can always switch it up, add your own favorite herbs & spices!
Bon Apetit!

SKIN CARE II

After nutrition, comes skin care which is key in achieving glowing and a healthy skin. The best tip is knowing what type of skin you have. Dry skin - if you wash your face and after drying, if it remains dry, then u have dry skin. Normal skin- skin does not stay dry/oily just perfect. Combination skin-  your skin is dry and oily at times. your t-zone area stays oily after makeup or applying lotion. T-Zone are your forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Oily skin-  your skin stays oily most of the times. Also weather and products used on your face can affect your skin. Also you can have sensitive skin - I do. You might react to products that have alcohol and herbs that might cause irritations on your skin. So stay away from any products that use alcohol. use alcohol free.

STEP 1:
CLEANSING: This is the first step. Basically just a fancy name for washing you skin. Please ladies wash/cleanse your skin at night, make sure you remove all makeup!!!

For dry/normal/sensitive/&Acne prone skin - I would recommend  Kiss My Face pure olive oil bar soap/ olive oil & lavender or olive oil and honey, olive & aloe and olive & green tea -We use them all.  --Organic

Cosmedix Benefit Balance, $37.50: Shan Albert, who says: “It’s an antioxidant toner with very high percentages of active ingredients such as cassia betaglycan (a plant collagen that calms the skin), shea butter, L-lactic acid (for softening and gentle exfoliation), heavy water (D2O, which is ten percent heavier than regular water, so it doesn’t evaporate as quickly, making it a true hydration agent), and vitamin C. Most traditional toners function as a pH restorer or for removing the last traces of debris from the skin. Benefit Balance does quite a bit more.”

Most of these products are available at your local stores like target, walmart and drugstores. And also at vitacost. I love Pomega5, and all organic skin care line, Roc, Boots, Jason Naturals, Burt's bees, Clearly natural, Queen Helene, Clinique, Olay, soap &glory, and clinique and Aveeno products.
It might involve trial and error, but the best way to avoid that would be knowing your skin type, research ingredients via google on the product you wish to purchase before buying it!!
I hope I helped in your decision and if you have any questions please feel free to email or leave a comment!!
My next Discussion would be EYE CREAMS AND BODY SCRUBS/BUTTERS/LOTIONS. So keep an eye out!!!

P.S All Boots, Soap &Glory products are made in England/U.K/France - Much better quality than USA. And most of them work great!
